When someone you care about dies

one of your first thoughts might be to go to a local funeral provider where you will very likely spend a lot of money for a respectable send off for your friend or family member. That might be  okay (if you can afford it)  but do you know tha you can put together a do-it-yourself funeral for much less money? Not to mention it will be as unique, as simple or elaborate, as traditional or creative as you care to make it.

We (the Baha'is of Quesnel) have done this several times and each funeral has been a true success with the added bonus  that the cost was around $ 2,000 instead of the funeral provider's estimate of $ 5,000 and up (way up).

It all started with our dear friend Roland. Here he is in X'ian, China, just a fewmonths before he passed away.
